Remove Security
- Login to your secure mdb using the
username of someone in the Admins Group, or the owner of the database.
- Go to Tools, Security,
User and Group Permissions.
- Grant full
permissions on all objects to the Users Group.
- Go to Tools,
Security, Workgroup Administrator and verify that your default workgroup
file is the standard system.mdw that ships with Access. (If you
are using either 97 or 2000, go to Start, Run and type wrkgadm.exe to
get to the Workgroup Administrator.)
- Close Access, and
reopen it. Create a new mdb and import all objects from your
secure mdb.
- This new mdb is now
unsecured.
